How I miss "Knightrider"

Very creepy, but I liked it very much indeed.

I especially enjoyed the singing butterfly with David's head.

Well, I can see you have no lack of self-esteem...

I could have forgiven the abyssmal sprite animation, the poor writing, the bad art, the irritating soundtrack, and the bad grammar.

However, I was disturbed at the manner in which you responded to the reviews posted by other users. That is unforgivable. Your replies were reminiscent of some of the hopefuls who dissed the judges on American Idol after blowing their audition.

If you post your work, be prepared to take criticism like a man. For the most part, the reviews were well-intentioned, and they were generally accurate.

This was not good work, and your art could use improvement.

You wrote "until you do one, you'll see why there can be errors in every flash", by which I presume you mean that it's easy to make mistakes. Yes it is. There is a steep learning curve, and making an effective and entertaining animation can be difficult.

No one grudges you the learning experience. In the meantime, you should learn to accept criticism with better grace.

Mystic-Skye responds:

Hey i can accept it but they dont have to give me a 1 and 2 because it wasnt a movie that got blammed. Let legendary frog make a movie like this i bet it gets a 5 and a high rating.

lazy art - but nice, fluid animation

Lazy art, but nice animation. You have a nice grasp of timing, which is often the toughest thing to get when animating. I you were to invest a little more time in teh art, I think you'd really have something.

ZT responds:

Lazy art!? I spent a long time on those backrounds...

Oh well...

E for Effort!

Oh look, another teen with a copy of Flash, and an authority on government and foreign policy too! Penetrating commentary, scintillating wit - how very unique you are. [snicker]

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

Tell you what, run your theory by my wife and kids for an objective opinion.

Nice work

Now I'll have to dig up a copy of that Final Fantasy game. Somehow, I missed that one.

Interesting

I'm afraid this made no sense to me at all, but I liked it. I found it oddly reminiscent of some of the pioneering work done by Norman McLaren.

oh dear

If this was the best of today's submissions, perhaps I shouldn't view the rest. :(

I don't get it

Sorry, I don't get it. I have seen several "Clock Crew" animations which seem to involve bad animations of novelty clocks in banal situations...

The clock premise might have been funny or even clever the fist time it was applied, but there's very little novelty to exploit.

What's the point?

Very Poor

I can see nothing to recommend this animation. There was no reason at all for the file to be the size it was, and the content didn't bear publication. I am very surprised that this .swf was a daily finalist. That fact alone speaks volumes about the other submissions.

- and yes, I am qualified to make these observations.
