we are a little full of ourselves...
... this was cute, but the horrible spelling and frequent malaprops detracted from the overall effect.
"Love is a many-splendid thing" LOL.... Oh, Lord. Poor Willy must be grinding his teeth.

cute
-though it's somewhat difficult to get the gameplay rolling. Shouldn't that be "motherlode", BTW?
Horrible physics
Playability should be your first concern. The physics in this game were terrible. Another thing to think of is the practical difficulty of having two players using the same keyboard...
Too bad nobody else thinks that. And you're a known blammer. *shrug*
A good beginning, but flawed
The game design is to random to make it really playable.
I found the "Press button to play game" approach a little tiresome when there was often no choice of action, and the gameplay was flawed by some poor design decisions.
For example, it is possible to have a few random encounters that wipe you out right at the beginning. There seems to be no correlation between the enemy's strength and your own. In most games, the enemies "grow up" at about the same rate as your character, so it's possible to progress.
Sadly, in this game, everything seems to be random, and since there is no way to judge an enemy's strength before being committed to a battle, you are basically stuck in the position of having to roll the dice to see if you lose the game. This makes it impossible to employ any kind of constructive strategy.
I also found the gameplay too linear for my likeing. It would be more interesting if you had more choices as to how to proceed, and more of apuzzle element to the game.
The graphics were spare, but quite acceptable.
not so hot. sorry
Mausland has created better games than this.
very nice
I found it a little frustrating that the letters had to touch though, because it meant giving up on a lot of very nice words indeed. Because of this limitation, I couldn't score above 740-750 per game. This also makes it possible to have some very poor rounds even with excellent letters.
Nice dictionary. did you load it as an xml object, or simply as an array? What were you using to build your search expressions, given there's no regular expressions support?
Hmm -
Courteous words and hard knocks should be a warrior's only tongue.
Having said that, it was fun, but the nude George Bush bit at the end was very, very disturbing. That was the WRONG KIND of nudity, my friend. Not nice to contemplate at all....
Hmm.
I'll bet $50 that
a) the author is not Chinese.
b) that this is not his work.
Hm. didn't do much for me, I'm afraid
Not my brand of humour, and the music drove me buggy after about 15 seconds.
AS won't work in MX 2004
you have an example of a Number being treated as a String. This won't compile for Flash Player 7, and can cause errors.
actionscript is an interest of mine
